Casterton
Nestled in the valley of the Glenelg River, Casterton has a strong agricultural history and is home of the annual Kelpie Festival – which is run over the June long weekend.
A stroll along the town’s main street will reveal some of the history through interpretive signage in several shop windows.
Kelpie Walking Trail
A 2.7 kilometre walk around the town takes about 50 minutes and three Kelpie themed sculptures in different mediums.

The lookout at the end of Robertson Street gives a fantastic view of the town
Ess Lagoon
A terrific walking track
Masonic Park
On the eastern side of the Glenelg River, Masonic Park has picnic tables.
